1. Nature of our establishment
Serenity Spa & Estética is a NON-INVASIVE ornamental and cosmetological aesthetic center for face and body, operating under Colombian Law 711 of 2001, Resolution 2263 of 2004 and Resolution 2117 of 2010 issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
We do NOT perform invasive medical procedures. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Botulinum toxin, dermal fillers or hyaluronic acid topical application.
- Topical application with cosmetic device, hydrolipoclasis or fat-reduction topical application.
- Medical Renewing Facial Treatment, dermal-penetrating cosmetic device or medical dermoabrasion.
- Any procedure requiring medical prescription, medical staff presence or REPS-enabled health institution.
2. Services we provide
Serenity Spa offers exclusively NON-INVASIVE cosmetic services: body and facial massages (relaxing, deep tissue, manual lymphatic drainage, hot stones), deep facial cleansing with INVIMA-notified cosmetic products, revitalizing facial treatments with topically applied cosmetic actives, pressotherapy, non-invasive cosmetic body-reducing treatments, lash lifting and eyebrow design, post-surgical care packages (understood as manual lymphatic drainage and cosmetological recovery techniques, NOT medical care).
3. Post-surgical care
Our "post-op" packages consist exclusively of Vodder manual lymphatic drainage + cosmetological muscle-relaxation and circulation-improvement techniques. We do NOT perform wound care, drain removal, medication management nor any activity reserved for medical staff. We recommend clients to have explicit authorization from their treating surgeon before each session.
4. For invasive medical procedures
If you require any invasive medical procedure (anything that penetrates skin, mucosa or introduces substances into the body), we recommend you exclusively go to a duly licensed Health Services Provider Institution (IPS) registered in REPS (Colombia's Special Registry of Health Service Providers). You may check the registry at prestadores.minsalud.gov.co.
5. Staff
Our team is composed of certified professional cosmetologists trained at educational institutions endorsed by the Colombian Ministry of National Education. We do NOT have medical staff nor perform activities reserved for licensed medical personnel.
6. Products used
All cosmetic products applied in our treatments hold mandatory sanitary notification (NSO) from INVIMA, under Decision 516 of 2002 of the Andean Community and Resolution 2511 of 1995 of the Ministry of Health.
7. Licensing and registration
We operate as a commercial establishment with NIT 1233506695, domiciled at Calle 115 #9-41, Usaquén, Bogotá D.C. We comply with the requirements of the Bogotá District Health Secretariat for ornamental and cosmetological aesthetic centers (Resolution 2117/2010 and district regulations).
