What is Dermapen and how does it work?

Dermapen is a device with sterile microneedles that creates microchannels in the skin to stimulate natural collagen production. The body interprets the micro-injuries as a regeneration signal, producing new collagen and elastin in the following weeks.

Is Dermapen painful?

We apply topical anesthesia 30 min before. The sensation during the procedure is light vibration with mild tingling. Tolerance is high for most people. The next day it feels like a mild sunburn that disappears in 24-48 hours.

How many sessions do I need?

For closing pores and improving texture: 3-4 sessions every 4 weeks. For acne scars: 4-6 sessions. For fine wrinkles: 4 sessions. The therapist defines the plan in your initial assessment.

When do I see results?

From the 2nd-3rd session you notice firmer skin, better texture and luminosity. The complete result is consolidated 8-12 weeks after the last session, when the new collagen has formed.

What care should I have after the session?

Skin will be slightly red and warm 24-48h (similar to mild sunburn). Avoid sun, makeup, gym and pool 48h. Use specific moisturizer (we recommend it) and rigorous SPF 50+. Avoid retinoids and acids 1 week.
